4.11 Gzipped Transfer Encoding

HTTP Responses may be compressed by setting the “gzip” (or “compress” or “deflate”) content- or transfer-encoding HTTP headers in ws-response-header. Any further data sent to the process using ws-send will automatically be appropriately compressed.
